Nice Guise – Mon Flingue (ESITU RECORDS)

Today we premiere the track Mon Flingue by Nice Guise, from the new release of the belgian ESITU records. This piece is an audacious experimental journey with a post-punk aura, distorted textures and a rhythmic pulse.

In the uninspiring corners of open-space offices, and administrative work, some employees find a space for resistance and creativity through subversion and sabotage, against the anger generated by the neutral and cruel absurdity of the corporate environment. In this compilation, Nice Guise engages with transpersonal subjects such as mental health, work place abuse and sexuality. For the past two years, while touring through Brussels with their abrupt live performance, Nice Guise has been fostering collective experiences where repressed personal emotions get to be shared on the dancefloor.

Nice Guise crystallizes their ongoing activity with the collection Candid shots. Like an aggregate in the orbs of the post-punk movement and the remnants of the Dada avant-garde, the band presents studio sessions, concert recordings, and sonic residues on the same level, thus making poor material their inspiration.
