Today, we present the new release on Marguerite’s catalogue, by Harlem Electronics. CAGEY is a punchy cocktail of sly bass hooks, raw machine grooves, and found sounds, all tied together by vocals that shape-shift from staccato statements to haunted murmurs and back again. Featuring six tracks including a remix by Colombian producer Filmmaker. The opener Cagey is one that we premiere today; Cagey sets the tone with an elastic, Liaisons Dangereuses-esque bassline coiling around its tail and a propulsive electro beat juxtaposed with the track’s cadenced vocals.
