Pushmaster Discs is proud to present a new project collaboration with label owner Mattia Trani and the rising techno talent Onyvaa from Los Angeles. The American producer joins the label with a massive pure Nu school-Detroit techno spirit combined with atmospheric chords and solid 909 rhythm patterns. “Climax EP” is a collection of studio jam session tracks written between Barcelona and Bologna from Mattia and Shelby, including also two big Rave/Acid Techno remixes from Icelander producer Dj Exos, which we are delighted to premiere today; a total acid orgasm with a straight kick and unexpected rave surprises on the way; a 100% smasher, while we are reminiscing powerful moments on the dance-floor.

Onyvaa
California native, DJ and producer, ONYVAA is one of Europe’s newest imports known for her driving melodic techno with Detroit influences and raw analog touches. Based in Paris, France, she is the founder/owner of vinyl and digital underground label, Passeport Records , which is distributed and pressed by Word and Sound in Hamburg, Germany. With a deep love for obscure field recording, she captures organic sounds from around the globe, encapsulating its ambiance into her original tracks. Supported by Laurent Garnier, Maya Jane Coles, Joris Voorn, Paco Osuna and many more, Passeport gives her creative autonomy to release her original productions.
ONYVAA’s brand of no frills and movement provoking techno landed her on renowned stages like Rex Club, Café d’Anvers, D! Club Lausanne, Future Frequency Festival, Cercle at Musée de l’Air et de l’Espace and l’Institut du Monde Arabe alongside DJs like Pan-Pot, Luke Slater, Amelie Lens, Charlotte de Witte, ANNA and Bambounou.
Mattia Trani is considered one of the most talented young artists of the techno music landscape of recent years, both Italian and European. In 2012, by founding his own label Pushmaster Disc, Mattia manages to score important collaborations with international artists like Ben Sims, Juan Atkins, DJ Hyperactive, Ilario Alicante, Rolando, Skudge, DJ Stingray e many others. Today his platform represents a small “musical universe” and his work is supported by many American music heroes like Jeff Mills, Robert Hood e Derrick May, but also European artists like Laurent Garnier and Ben Klock, with Amelie Lens e Nina Kraviz as self-proclaimed fans. In 2014, during the party for the 20th anniversary of Bologna’s Link Club, Trani shares the console with Jeff Mills, and in that occasion the famous Italian newspaper La Repubblica defines him a “Student of the Detroit school, which Mills himself brought to fame”.
His skills develop further in 2018 by publishing several works: the single Uncage, for example, in which explodes the thunderous remix of the one and only Donato Dozzy, and the 20th release of Pushmaster Discs: a thrilling EP, with a refined and precious remix of Steve Rachmad the European pioneer of minimalism, involved under the alias of Sterac.
Exos is one of the most experienced techno artists from Iceland since the mid-nineties. He has made a multitude of releases throughout the years, along with his 4th album in 2020. His debut appeared in 1997 with his first Ep on the legendary dub-influenced label Thule records, which
is known for its rare signature minimal sound. Exos has released on prominent labels such as Delsin records and Nina Kraviz’ трип records. He opened the X/OZ label for the versatility of the deeper spectrum while launching Planet X for the harder versions of Exos. This versatility of style and sensitivity both in the studio and onstage are key to his enduring appeal, as he possesses an innate ability to go from the most experimental compositions to the most elegant sound waves, always keeping with a very particular sense of harmony in one of the highest examples of total destruction of endless rawness.
